[ARCHIVED] 19 Count Drug Trafficking Indictment

On August 19, 2013, the Clark County Grand Jury Indicted Pedro Arriaga, Ebonyuwezo Jones, and Leroy Lewis III in a 19 count indictment for their involvement in a large scale drug trafficking operation in Clark County, Ohio.

Between September 2012 and August 2013, Arriaga supplied large quantities of cocaine, heroin, and marijuana to drug traffickers in and around Springfield. Arriaga is charged with supplying a kilogram of cocaine to Lewis in 2012, and another kilogram of cocaine to Lewis in May 2013. On May 21, 2013, Lewis was arrested in possession of over 250 grams of cocaine. Arriaga is also charged with supplying a kilogram of cocaine to Jones in June, 2013. On June 20, 2013, Jones was arrested in possession of over 1,000 grams of cocaine. Arriaga also sold marijuana and heroin during the same time period.

The charges stem from an investigation by the Springfield Police Division, Clark County Prosecutor’s Office, and other agencies that included search warrants being executed at 11 locations in Springfield, Clark County, and Dayton between May and August 2013. During the course of the investigation, a total of 1,298.46 grams of cocaine, 7 firearms, over $50,000, and 5 vehicles were seized.

Arriaga is currently being held in the Clark County Jail on a 5 million dollar bond. Jones was released from jail after posting a $100,000 bond.
