Patrol Services
The Clark County Sheriff's Office has a contract with Moorefield Township to have two deputies permanently assigned to patrol all of Moorefield Township. The deputies currently assigned are Deputy Dianne Norris and Deputy Holly Risner.  The deputies work varying and rotating to shifts to ensure a vigilant presence within the township. 

Biography of Deputy Dianne Norris

Deputy Diane Norris started her career with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office in 2015. She has been a resident of Clark County for most of her life. Diane attended Northwestern High School, and furthered her education by obtaining her Associate of Arts degree from Clark State Community College. She then continued on to Wright State University, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Crime and Justice Studies.

Prior to being assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division, she was assigned to the Jail Division where she was a field training officer for newly hired deputies. She is currently assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division, assigned specifically to Moorefield Township.

She has been a member of the departments Honor Guard since 2016, and participates in a variety of the events throughout each year. She has also received the Perfect Attendance award.

Biography of Deputy Holly Risner

Deputy Holly Risner has been a lifetime resident of Clark County Ohio. She started her career with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office in 2007. She is a graduate of Clark State Community College where she majored in Criminal Justice and acquired her Associates Degree.

Deputy Risner was awarded Critical Incident Officer of the Year in 2014 and attributes that award to her interest in helping people. Deputy Risner takes pride in serving her community and has been a part of the Uniform Patrol Division since 2011.

Deputy Risner endures continuous training to enhance her skills and increase her knowledge. Deputy Risner is a Field Training Officer (FTO). Being an FTO for 11 years has allowed Deputy Risner to prepare newly hired deputies for their successful careers. Deputy Risner proudly served on the departments Honor Guard from 2007-2018 and volunteered many hours.
