Moorefield Township
Patrol Services
The Clark County Sheriff's Office has a contract with Moorefield Township to have two deputies permanently assigned to patrol all of Moorefield Township. The deputies currently assigned are Deputy Kenneth Majercak and Deputy Nicholas Moody.  The deputies work varying and rotating to shifts to ensure a vigilant presence within the township. 

Biography of Ken Majercak

Deputy Majercak started his law enforcement career in 1993 graduating from the Clark State Community College police academy. He has also been certified as a police officer in the state of Tennessee. Ken has been a nominee for police officer of the year although not selected it was still a great honor to be a nominee.

Ken was employed with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office in 2011 where he worked in the Jail Division. Ken was then selected to work in the Uniform Patrol Division within the City of New Carlisle. In January of 2015 Ken was selected to work in the Uniform Patrol within the Moorefield Township Division.

Deputy Majercak is a big part of the community based policing in Moorefield Township. He also conducted a drug take back day in Moorefield Township where he took in thirty one pounds of drugs in the pill form. The street value of the drugs taken in was $129,000.00 dollars. 

Deputy Majercak will be planning additional drug take back days in the future which will occur in Moorefield Township.
