Conceal Carry Program

NOTICE: The Conceal Carry Office
will be closed November 21, 22, and 23rd, 2011.
The Clark County Sheriff's
Office operates their Conceal Carry Program from our East District
Office located at 3130 East
Main Street. Due to current manpower
constraints, the office is only open
Monday through Wednesday for concealed handgun applications between
the hours of 8:00am to 11:00am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Call

Prior to coming
to the office you must have the following paperwork with you.

A completed Conceal
Carry application.
Application for a Standard License,
Renewal, or Temporary License

A training certificate
stating that you have met the training requirements per
O.R.C 2923.125.
Only a legal resident of the U.S.,
and of the State of Ohio may apply for an Ohio concealed carry permit.
Fees:
An Ohio resident who has resided in
the State of Ohio for five contiguous years or more is currently charged
$67.00.
An Ohio resident who has resided in
the State of Ohio for less than five years must undergo an
additional background check through the FBI for an additional charge of
$24.00, bringing the total application charge to
$91.00
A license renewal fee is currently
$50.00.
An applicant must provide a passport
size photo with his/her application that has been taken within 3 months
of application or we will take one for $5.00
A temporary emergency permit license
fee is currently $37.00
The replacement fee for lost licenses
is $15.00, name change fee is $15.00, and address change
fee is $15.00
The Attorney General will publish the
pamphlet on the AG website. The website address at which the pamphlet
may be found
www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov .This web site will give access to the
application for the concealed carry permit, and gives numerous tidbits
of information regarding the concealed carry program.
All fees must be paid by money order, bank check
or certified check. only. We do not accept cash or personal checks.
