DARE is an acronym for Drug Abuse Resistance Education and began in
Los Angeles, California. The Clark County Sheriff's office
began this program in 1988. We currently teach in 15 elementary
schools and 7 high schools with about 1600 kids a year. Our D.A.R.E.
Deputies also teach our Safety Village Program in the summer to kids
entering Kindergarten.

Sergeant
Ralph Underwood
Sergeant Underwood began his career
with the Clark County Sheriff's Office August 28, 1989. He was first
assigned to the Jail Division before moving to the Community Division
November 1, 1999. Sergeant Underwood is the supervisor of the Community
Service Division which consists of D.A.R.E., Neighborhood Crimes
Watches, Project Lifesaver, and the Cadets. He is a member of the
Sheriff's Honor Guard and works with the Reserve Deputies.

Deputy Brent Goff
Deputy Brent Goff began his career at the Clark
County Sheriff's office in October 1990. Before becoming a
Deputy Sheriff, Brent was a volunteer Firefighter and Paramedic for the
German Township Fire Department. He served thirteen years
with German Township and served two years with the Springfield
Township Fire Department. Deputy Brent has been with the D.A.R.E. program for the past two years. Before D.A.R.E.
he served in the Uniform Patrol Division, Jail Division and
was a COPS officer before the program was retired. Deputy
Brent has received several awards including the Sheriff's
Award.

Deputy Scott Cultice
Deputy Scott Cultice has been with the Clark
County Sheriff's Office since 2006. He was appointed to the D.A.R.E.
Program in December 2007. Deputy Cultice attended an eighty hour D.A.R.E.
training course in Illinois in December 2007. He was certified to teach
D.A.R.E. and also certified as a school resource officer. He has ten
years law enforcement experience and has participated in many school
related activities. Deputy Cultice has taught third grade seatbelt
safety, gun safety, and several other programs. He has received
meritorious service award and 3 time Sheriff’s award.
