Lieutenant Donald A. Lucas
is the Division Commander of the Uniform Patrol Division. The Uniform Patrol consists of 25 patrol deputies, the City Of New Carlisle and all township deputies.
Lieutenant Lucas began his career with the Clark County Sheriff's Office December 28, 1983 and has served in the jail division, uniform patrol division, community oriented policing division, and criminal investigations division. He has served as supervisor in the uniform patrol division, the jail division, and most recently as the police administrator for the City Of New Carlisle.
Lieutenant Lucas was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in January 1998. In February 2002, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
