Lieutenant Vernon D. Whitt
is the administrator
of the Clark County Jail. He was hired November
17th 1980. He was one of fifty officers hired to open the new Clark
County Jail in 1980. Lt Whitt has served in the Jail Division,
Uniform Patrol and Criminal Investigations. Lt Whitt was promoted to
the rank of Sergeant June 28th 1999 and served as a Jail Supervisor
and Court Security Supervisor at the Common Pleas Court. March 2nd
he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to Criminal
Investigations Unit.
