We know the pandemic has been very difficult for so many people and organizations in Clark County. We're here to help you on your road to recovery!

Housing and Emergency Assistance CARES Grants

Clark County can provide up to $1,000 per month for qualified individuals, families or household’s payment of mortgage, rent, property tax, utilities, food and other expenses incurred during the period of March 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 and related to loss of income, increased financial costs or adverse circumstances caused by COVID-19. Payments will be made by Clark County directly to a mortgage holder, landlord or utility on behalf of the individual, family or household. Applications can be dropped off or sent by mail to Grants Coordinator Dirk Lackovich-Van Gorp at the Springview Government Center, Clark County Community and Economic Development Department, 3130 E. Small Business and Non-Profits CARES Grants

The Clark County Community and Economic Development Department will be distributing financial assistance to aid small businesses and non-profits in Clark County with relief from the COVID-19 crisis. Eligible small businesses and non-profits can apply for up to $15,000 to use for salaries/benefits for employees, rents/mortgages, utilities, business insurance, construction costs directly associated with relief from constraints due to COVID-19 and COVID-19 related expenses (masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, partitions, etc.). Clark County is utilizing $200,000 of its CARES allotment for this grant program.

The intent of this grant is to aid small businesses and non-profits greatly impacted by COVID-19. This grant is aimed at small businesses and non-profits that were interrupted through required closures, voluntary closures to promote social distancing, or those that experienced decreased customer demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications can be dropped off or sent by mail to Economic Development Coordinator J.
