The Great American Cleanup is the nation’s largest beautification program, involving millions of volunteers nationally and hundreds annually in Clark County. The event is held annually by the Clark County Solid Waste District and Keep Clark County Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.
The 2022 Great American Cleanup had more than 838 participants in Clark County. Those volunteers gave over 1,634 hours of their time and picked up 250 bags of litter throughout the county.
Join us to make 2023 an even better year to keep Clark County clean and beautiful!
We’re seeking volunteers to clean up litter and spruce up Clark County from March 20 through June 20, 2023. We provide the volunteers with gloves, trash bags, and disposal of trash, as well as a small token for each participant.
