The $2.5 million interior renovation project at the historic A.B. Graham Building in Clark County is expected to be completed on November 23.
Four Clark County offices ─ Auditor, Recorder, Treasurer and Engineer’s Tax Map Office ─ will be closed Nov. 16 through 20 to allow for adequate time to move operations back to the A.B. Graham Building, located at 31 N. Limestone St. in Springfield.
The offices will re-open during normal business hours on Nov. 23.
The renovation at the A.B. Graham Building, originally constructed in 1901, includes modernized electrical wiring, heating and air conditioning, fire suppression, plumbing and a new elevator to the make the building handicap accessible. Springfield-based Kapp Construction served as contractor and Dayton-based Oregon Group served as architect for the project.
The county recently replaced windows and made improvements to the exterior of the building in 2017.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a formal re-opening ceremony will be held at a later date.
