SPRINGFIELD, OH (Nov. 18, 2020) — The Board of Clark County Commissioners is transitioning to virtual operations beginning Thursday, Nov. 19 due to a recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Clark County.

Clark County Offices will remain open to the public virtually until buildings physically re-open on Dec. 14. Offices will remain closed as planned on Nov. 26 and 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Board of Clark County Commissioners will host its next three meetings via Zoom teleconference on Nov. 25, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9. Meeting details will be posted at ClarkCountyOhio.gov.

While buildings will be temporarily closed as a precautionary measure to ensure essential government services run efficiently, the agencies located inside those facilities will remain open and employees will report to work according to department policies. Residents are encouraged to do business online or by phone as much as possible during the next three weeks. Individuals may schedule appointments with departments as needed.

For utility bills, residents can mail payments using the remittance envelope included with their bill. Residents can also drop off payment in person at our office using the night deposit box located in front of the Springview Government Center, 3130 E. Main St. You can also make arrangements with the Utilities Department to have your payment deducted directly from your checking or savings account monthly through our ACH program. Residents can also pay their bill by credit/debit card or e-check using First Billing Services. Call 855-270-3592 to make your payment or you can call our office at 937-521-2150 and select option 1. Online payments can be made at: https://ipn2.paymentus.com/rotp/clkc

Zoning and building forms can be dropped off in the drop box located inside the breezeway near the Clark County Community and Economic Development Office. For more information, call the department at 937-521-2160.

The Clark County Personnel Department is still accepting job applications via e-mail at HR@clarkcountyohio.gov. Documents can also be dropped off at the Clark County Utilities drop box in the parking lot at the Springview Government Center.

The Clark County Dog Shelter, 5201 Urbana Road, will be open on an appointment-only basis until Dec. 14. The dog shelter’s operating hours remain the same; however, please call 937 521-2140 to make an appointment for a possible adoption.
