SPRINGFIELD, OH (April 5, 2021) – The Springview Government Center, 3130 East Main Street in Springfield, will be closed to the public on Wednesday, April 7 due to a planned water outage in the area.
The Board of Clark County Commissioners will host its weekly meeting on Wednesday morning as scheduled. The informal session will be held at 8:30 a.m., followed by the formal session at 10 a.m. The meeting will be open to the public for attendance, but restrooms and drinking fountains may be closed due to the planned water outage. All other offices located at the Springview Government Center will be physically closed to the public, but will remain open for virtual services throughout the day at ClarkCountyOhio.gov.
The City of Springfield Service Department will be shutting off water to several hundred Clark County Utilities customers in the Maplewood and Holiday Hills neighborhoods as its repairs a water main in the area. The water will be shut off at 8 a.m. and repairs could take up to eight hours.
