State Route 794 is now County Road 794 - West Blee Road
The Ohio Department of Transportation has transferred jurisdictional authority of State Route 794, between State Route 68 and State Route 72, to County County effective November 19, 2013.
ODOT Director Jerry Wray certified the abandonment of the state route transferring jurisdiction and maintenance authority to Clark County for continued use as a public roadway. The County assumes maintenance immediately. Please direct all maintenance inquiries to the Clark County Engineer, (937) 521-1800 or engineer@clarkcountyohio.gov.
The project constructed 1.42 miles of new roadway including new drainage culverts and realigned a portion of State Route 794 in the proximity of the OANG (Ohio Air National Guard) Springfield base to meet current Department of Development clearance requirements and to allow for anticipated future base growth. The remaining sections were resurfaced and new pavement markings installed.
