[ARCHIVED] Enon-Xenia Road Project Update – July 13, 2023

Phase 3 (Revised)

The current road closure and detour will remain in effect.  Work will begin immediately on constructing the full roadway, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveways from Rebert Pike to the north school entrance in order to open this section to two-way, two-lane traffic before the first day of school on August 24, 2023.

Phase 4 (Revised)

After August 24, Enon-Xenia Road will remain closed between the school and Oak Hill Drive for the contractor to complete the storm sewer and roadway work.  Access to the school will be available from the south on Enon-Xenia Road and from the west on Arnold Avenue.

Phase 5

The contractor will re-open the roadway to two-lane, two-direction traffic and install the final course of asphalt, permanent pavement markings, and signage.

Your patience throughout this project is appreciated.  Please watch for changes in traffic patterns and follow signs accordingly.  We apologize in advance for any inconveniences!

NOTE: Road construction and utility projects are subject to constant change due to inclement weather and unexpected findings.
