The Board of Clark County Commissioners and the Clark County and Economic Development Department is awarding more than $64,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding to make improvements to Carlisle Park in New Carlisle.
The park located at 410 North Church Street in New Carlisle will receive several updates, including a new basketball court, sidewalks and a handicap-accessible swing set. The Board awarded a bid to contractor Outdoor Enterprises at its Oct. 27 meeting.
The total cost of the project is about $91,000 with the City of New Carlisle adding more than $25,000 in matching dollars.
Construction is expected to be completed in May of 2024.
