1. What are the payment methods available?

Your real estate taxes can be paid by cash, money order, personal check, cashier’s check, credit or debit card (a processing fee is assessed when using a credit or debit card).

2. Are there any exemptions for senior citizens to reduce the amount of taxes due?

There is a real estate homestead exemption available. Please contact the Clark County Auditor's Office at 937-521-1862 for details.

3. Are there payment plans for delinquent taxes?

The County Treasurer offers delinquent payment plans for real estate and manufactured
homes in accordance with Section 323.31, Ohio Revised Code.
Please contact the Treasurer's Office to review delinquent payment plans and how a payment plan could be beneficial to you.

4. Can the penalty be waived?

A taxpayer may request remission of a penalty for real estate or manufactured home taxes.
