School Resource Officers: What We Do

Clark County School Resource Officers

Officers pictured left to right: Adam Anderson, Mark Lane, John Loney, Josh Pacine and Darlene Grogg. As sworn law enforcement officers, our School Resource Officers (SRO’s) play a unique role in preserving order, promoting safety and providing crime prevention in our county schools. Their responsibilities are similar to regular police officers in that they have the ability to make arrests, respond to calls for service, and document incidents that occur within their jurisdiction. They serve as liaisons between the school and the Sheriff’s Office and providing information to students and school personnel about law enforcement matters.
