Clark County Administrator Jenny Hutchinson

Jenny Hutchinson has worked in the public sector for almost 20 years, starting her career as an Assistant Auditor with the Auditor of State of Ohio. She has worked with several municipalities as a Finance Director, including the City of Wyoming and the City of Marysville. In 2016, she was hired by the Clark County Commissioners as the County Administrator. Jenny graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She and her husband, Derek, are proud parents of four children.

The County Administrator is the chief administrative officer of the county and serves at the pleasure of the board. The county administrator is responsible for directing and supervising the Buildings and Grounds Department, Community Development Department, Emergency Management Agency, Information Systems, Job and Family Services, Utilities Department, and Solid Waste District. The administrator advises the board on the financial condition of the county and prepares and submits the county’s fiscal year budgets to the board, enforces and executes the policies and resolutions of the board, and performs many other duties assigned by the board pursuant to Section 305.30 of the Ohio Revised Code.
