Charles A. Patterson is a lifelong conservative republican
who has lived in Clark County nearly his entire life. He has over 34 years experience in state and local government and was most recently the Health Commissioner for 23 years in Clark County. He earned both a bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree in business administration. Beth is his wife of 36 years and he has three daughters ages 16-32. He has many years of helping craft and interpret legislation and is knowledgeable in the rulemaking process. Commissioner Patterson has diverse and numerous contacts throughout both Springfield and New Carlisle cities and Clark County including government, business, education and the public. He believes that relationships are key to accomplishing goals on behalf of the public.
