OUR MISSION

The office of the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney is charged with the responsibility of representing the State of Ohio in all felony prosecutions resulting from crimes committed within Clark County, Ohio. In addition, the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney convenes and conducts Grand Jury proceedings, conducts juvenile prosecutions, including felony, misdemeanor, and traffic cases, provides information and assistance to the victims of crime, helps to protect children by instituting child abuse, neglect, and dependency cases, and represents various Clark County governmental offices, and Townships.

The Criminal Divison is dedicated to providing members of our community with a safe place to live by holding the guilty accountable, and protecting the innocent through felony investigations, and prosecutions.

The Civil Division promotes good, efficient government through the effective representation of all County and Township governmental agencies within Clark County.

The Victim Witness Divisionseeks to assist victims and witnesses as their cases progress through the criminal justice system.
